The Marketing & Planning extension adds tools for content and campaign work: a month-grid view for planning across time, and a data-table engine for the numbers that come with it.

Turn it on

This extension is off by default and available on the Pro plan. Switch it on in Settings → General → Extensions.

The month-grid view

Alongside the board, calendar and table views, a group can show a month-grid — laid out for planning content and campaigns over weeks and months rather than managing a day-to-day flow.

Tasks can also carry a kind (such as content or asset), so a content calendar and its production assets live together without getting confused.

The data-table engine

Marketing work is full of tables — a content plan, a budget, a spend-vs-revenue grid. The data-table engine gives each group typed tables with real columns:

• Input columns you type into,
• Calculated columns that compute from other columns in the same table, and
• Aggregate columns that roll up figures across tables.

The calculations are evaluated safely, with loops caught automatically, so a mis-built formula can’t break the table.

A table can also be pinned into a dashboard as a widget, so a key grid — your ROAS by month, say — sits right on your reporting page.

Getting data in and out

Tables support CSV import and export, so you can bring an existing spreadsheet in and take your data back out at any time. There are example CSVs on this site you can download and import to see the shapes the engine expects.

Good to know

• Data tables are not encrypted — they hold figures and plans, not secrets. Keep sensitive values in the Vault.
• This is a hub feature; it isn’t part of the WordPress sync.

The short version: turn it on (Pro) for a month-grid planning view and typed data tables with real calculations. Import and export tables as CSV, and pin key tables onto a dashboard.
