Site Health

Site Health watches the WordPress sites you look after and tells you when something changes — so you hear about a site going down from Coalface, not from your client.

Turn it on

Site Health is off by default and available on the Pro plan. Switch it on in Settings → General → Extensions, then manage sites under Settings → Site Health.

What it watches

• Uptime — is the site responding?
• SSL — is the certificate valid and not about to expire?
• SEO — basic on-page health signals.

Each site you monitor shows its latest checks, any open issues, and — if the site is linked to a board group — the overdue tasks for that work, all in one row.

Notifications that don’t nag

Site Health only tells you about changes — one notification when a site goes down, and one when it recovers. You won’t get a fresh alert every time a check runs, so a genuinely-down site doesn’t bury you in noise.

Turn a problem into a task

When something needs fixing, you can create a task straight from the finding. It goes through the same task pipeline as everything else, so it lands on the right board and syncs to WordPress if that board is connected.

Managing sites

From each site’s row menu you can mute a site (stop watching it without deleting it) or stop monitoring it entirely. Sites linked to a connected WordPress group appear here automatically.

The short version: turn it on (Pro) to watch your sites’ uptime, SSL and SEO. You get one alert when a site goes down and one when it recovers, and you can turn any issue into a task.
